Not a tooth..I guess

Addy was in for her 4 month checkup today. Here are her stats. 14 lbs. 2 oz., almost 25 in long and a head of 40 1/4. 75% for Height and weight. 50% for her head. She is about 1 1/2 pounds bigger than Paige at this age, slightly longer but the head is the same. She got some shots today and it is no fun to watch but within minutes she was fine again - smiling away.

So the tooth was not a tooth after all. The Dr. said it was a ceast that is really common. More common on the roof of the mouth but can happen anywhere. She told me the name but it escapes me right now. She said they are hard and white like a tooth and that it could have left the hole in her gum afterward. It comes from a clogged mucus duct..that just doesn't sound good. The Dr. also said they are supposed to mean good fortune :) She told Addy to start investing now. So I guess I can stop checking to see if that "tooth" is going to pop through again.

Dave took the day off yesterday and he and I went shopping. We crossed alot off the list. Still need a few more things but it will actually get done and hopefully sooner than later. I think this was the first time in 2 1/2 years that we went shopping together ALONE. It was nice. Thanks Jodi for watching the girls all day and night :)

Well the holidays officially start for us this weekend. We are going to catch the Holidazzle parade tonight. We have never been so it should be neat. I will have to start early to get everyone bundled up and out the door on time. Tomorrow we have a holiday celebration with the Lier's and Sun. it is brunch with Santa and a birthday celebration for grandpa gordy with cake. Paige's favorite, she is also very fond of Santa so she has a great Sun. planned. It is so nice that Santa can drop in on all our functions :)
