Well it has been 2 months since my last confession, oh wait I mean blog. A lot of things happened while I was gone and I know many of you were wondering about us. I received many emails asking how we were doing so I know people are actually reading here. Let's see Thanksgiving and Christmas came and went. I am so glad that they are over. December always feels like I am treading water and bearly staying afloat and when January comes I am finally able to get out of the water and dry off. Some Decembers are better than others and I always approach them with optimism that this one will go better because I will do everything I can to be prepared and stay on top of things but sometimes my efforts fail. Juggling 2 jobs, both where overly demanding in December. We are making some changes at my family business and it has required more of my time but juggling furniture manor and the kids it is hard to find the extra time. At furniture manor, I was excited that I had 2 house calls in December but they were far more demanding then I had planned or had time for but I got through it. One of them everything is ordered for and the other we are still working on the pieces but should come together nicely. I already have another one lined up for this week. They are a lot of work but it is fun to get to know the people more and seeing them get so excited about their home is great.
My grandpa passed away in December which many of you already know but there are a few people that I haven't had a chance to touch base with. He will be missed. The last few months of his life were a struggle and it is hard to see anyone you love in that situation. We are not really sure what he passed away from but it was probably a combination of many factors and I hope the he is resting in peace, he deserves to be. Love you grandpa Gordy, we will miss you.
The kids are good. We are all just recouping from the flu this week. Addy came down with it on Sat. night and then we all fell from there. It has been over 30 hours since anyone has thrown up so I hope we are out of the weeds, Please.... We can't possibly wash all the sheets and towels again. We have been trying to dissienfect the house.
Addy is up from her nap and Paige is at school this morning. I better get to it. I'll keep in touch :)

YEA!!! So glad you are back. Even though I get to see you, (although not nearly as much as I'd like!) I missed your updates.
I am also glad you are back to the blogging. I miss the updates as I just don't see you guys much anymore. It sounds like you have had a very busy time, but how great to have clients at the furniture manor. I hope you are still liking that job and the prospects of being more independant as a interior decorator/stylist. I am so sorry to hear of your grandpa's passing. It is so hard to lose someone you love so dearly. I am sorry for your loss. I hope to see you and your family at the superbowl party. Take care! Katy C.
