We had a good weekend. My friend Annie was down for a bridal shower so Dave and I were able to meet up with her, Angie and Kristen. It was fun to get together and have some laughs about old times. I am sure people thought I was nuts since I was almost crying of laughter at some of the memories. It is so fun to visit with friends.
Boy I tell you - I can not stay up late and get up early anymore!! If I am up until midnight I pay the price the next day. The girls usually have us up between 6- 7 lately and then we are going all day. When they nap we usually find something to do around the house and there never is enough time.
Saturday I didn't even leave the house. Dave and Paige went to swimming. Adelynn napped and I worked on the bookkeeping. We are doing good on the budget and it is the end of Feb. I finished up our tax return and we are getting a great refund. Love those child tax credits!!
Sunday we made a trek out to Albertville to do some shopping. Addy is bigger than her sister at this stage so all her warm blanket jammies are to small. It has been quite a task finding those this time of year. They have all the spring stuff out but it is still cold in our house at nighttime. I do like going up there for kids stuff. We always get a lot of clothes for very little money. I am sure we will be going back for a summer wardobe for the girls in the spring. I got a new purse as a birthday present from my mom. Thanks mom, I love my new purse :)
I must say I was very disappointed that Desperate Housewives was not on. I look forward to the shows every week. Why do they think that people who have not watched the dancing show want to watch the final episode? I mean really - what is this business of moving around the days you run the shows? Grey's Anatomy was fantastic as usual.
