Birthdays

I am here, nothing really that new to report. There have been several birthdays going on lately. Paige LOVES birthdays but I think I have mentioned that before. We have been averaging 2 birthday parties a weekend. So - happy birthday to Owen, Ed, Julie, Elizabeth, and Kevin. There are actually more I think - so sorry if it was your birthday too. Happy Birthday. I also hosted a Lia Sophia party on Sun. afternoon and the weather turned out great so the kids were loving the back yard.

Our yard is shaping up. Dave took Fri. off and we put in about 4-5 yards of mulch and wood chips. Which I think brings us up to about 9 or 10 yards so far and we will need more but those projects are not so important right now. He also put on a screen door - Yeah. I like being able to leave it open, it lets in so much light. We have had it for 2 days and there are tons on smooshy face marks on it already from the girls, I think they like it too. We were both outside working in the rain. We just put on our rain coats and kept plugging away. I am sure our neighbors were wondering what the heck we were doing but it was actually kinda nice. The neighbors already think we are nuts anyway with all of Dave's junk coming and going and the fact that he works in the garage all hours of the night - so oh well. Now we just have to finish the deck put in the fire ring and maybe a fence to finish off the yard. We spend a lot of time outside in the summer and have already been outside most of the hours we are home this spring/summer so far. It is all worth it when it looks nice.
