Addy was better for a week and now appears to be sick again. It is really weird, she vomits in the morning and then eats and drinks fine the rest of the day. She has ridiculously bad gas and very ugly diapers. It is not like we can bring her to daycare or anywhere else when she just throws up - so it has been throwing a hitch in the days. I am going into work late and Dave is coming home early. We're just rolling with the punches. It seems that everyone is sick so we just keep getting it back. I have a cold and am not feeling tip top.
We had a great weekend last weekend, it was my birthday so I had a whole week off from Furniture manor and it was very nice and relaxing. Fri. Dave took off work and we got some errands done and shopping in, then out to dinner with friends. Sat. was a really great day and that was my actual birthday. We woke up late and had to hurry out the door but met the Crandall's at the Children's Musuem - I love that place - We bought a membership so we will be going back. When picked up the best cake EVER at cafe Latte (thanks Michelle for the recommendation) - Paige was so excited to pick out a cake for me. She picked out 2 chocolate "pupcakes" for her and Addy instead. Went home to clean up and nap, Dave and I put together Ikea cabinets and cleaned out kids toys. Then my parents and grandma came over for pizza and we just relaxed. It was a very nice day. Paige was particularly cute, so told everyone we saw all day that it was her mom's birthday and she loved her more than anyone in the whole world. Telling strangers in the elevator, yelling it in the ant hill at the musuem. I was so proud.
I can't believe Feb. is here. It is like -8 today and I really was hoping we were going to skip this part of winter, darn it.
