Paige's last day of Preschool forever :)
We took a vacation in June to Bayfield Wis. There were 3 families 12 people, 6 kids age 4 and under. It went really well - nice and relaxing, lots of time at the park and the ice cream shoppe!!Paige's obession this summer has been the monkey bars, she gets blisters on top of blisters.

See lots of ice cream...

Addy and Owen are quite the buddies, they have a love/hate thing going but mostly a love one. They enjoy spending time together - When they get married some day I can say - I told ya so :)

A family shot in Bayfield - it never fails someone is ALWAYS not looking
Pat had a birthday on the vacation and the kids were so grateful to him because that meant they got cake :)
Just kickin back - keeping busy
The kids all made their visors and they are showing them off

This was the view of lake superior from the bottom of our stairs at the house we rented - it was a really nice setting.

We also celebrated Father's Day while on our vacation - here are all the dads with the kidos

We went on a couple of hikes, they were short, trying to keep 6 kids happy!

Cute picture from the park

Addy gave up her nuky this summer. It is kinda a cute story, it was her decision. Not like we hadn't been pushing it for awhile but she wasn't quite ready. One night we were on our way to a dance class and Addy told us that she wanted to give her nukies to a baby that needed them - that she wasn't a baby anymore. I thought that was a great idea but wasn't real sure how serious she was. After the class was over I had kinda forgotten about mailing the nukies but Addy reminded me - she wanted to go to the store to buy an envelope to mail them in. When we got home we went around the house and rounded up every nuky that we could find - a lot of them - and then we sealed them in the envelope. Addy addressed it to the babies - as you can see in the picture. We put a stamp on it and walked it out to the mail box (next picture). She didn't fall asleep until at least 10pm that night. I think she had a hard time winding down and she wanted to know if the mailman had come and gotten the package yet. We did have to go check once at about 9pm. Needless to say the nukies were gone by morning and she hasn't sucked on a nuky since. I was incredible proud of her, she was very attached to her nuky and it was a brave thing she did. I think that it was all part of the process of getting ready for preschool. She knew that in order to start preschool she had to be a big girl and that meant no nukies and no diapers. She accomplished both this summer and started preschool. What a big girl - I am so proud.
This is Paige and Addy at a dance recital this summer - you can see how well that went :)
We took the girls on a one night camping trip in our truck camper - they love camping and roasting marshmallows!

We spent some time at the cabin this summer - this is 4th of July with their cousin Elizabeth

They tried tubing on the "hot dog" they loved it and did it a couple times this summer but it makes me a nervous reck!

We spent some time at the Childrens Musuem and the girls like to paint their faces - their whole faces!

The girls both celebrated their birthdays in August. Paige is 5 and Adelynn is 3. We had a crazy amount of celebrations. We went bowling on Addy's birthday, spent Paige's birthday at the cabin and had several parties in between with lots of cake! - of course.

This is Addy on the day she turned 3!
Paige and Grandma Barbie make a Pink cake with Pink frosting on her actual birthday at the cabin. Paige really enjoyed it. She even wrote happy birthday on her cake - with a little help from grandma - looks great, don't you think - tasted great too!

Dave and I celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary in Sept. We bought each other the exact same anniversary card - do you think we are made for each other or what? If you look close we even wrote in the same direction in the card. Crazy!

Paige's first day of KINDERGARTEN!!!! Wow, I can't believe it has already come. What a fun, exciting and scary time for all of us. She is doing really great - only thing is - she doesn't like all the homework she has to do at school. She just wants to play with her friends and bring her work home to do. I guess it is good she still wants to do the work :) She is quite the social butterfly. When we went to open house she already knew half the class from various activities. When the bus comes to get her - right when the door opens there are kids yelling "Hi Paige, sit with me Paige" "You sat with so and so yesterday" She has already made tons of new friends on the bus -too! Makes me feel good as her momma :)

Addy started Preschool this year and this is her on the first day. She is loving it and was not sad for me to leave her there all by herself. She couldn't wait.

See - Bye mom!
Here are the girls with Granny Shirley on her birthday!!
Karen and Bryon got married!!!
The girls were ADORABLE!!!

I took Paige to get her nails done for the big day!!

We had so many visitors in town for the wedding - it was so fun - the kids made some new frinds and met some cousins for the first time.

Just some fun with friends:)
