When it rains...

A quick update for the week. It is an extremely busy week for me and there for Dave as a result. It is one of the weeks that I work everyday and almost every nught as well. We are doing some more financial planning seminars this week. So what always seems to happen is that there is one really busy week and that is always the week that additional things go wrong just to add to the mess.

My dad fell on the ice Sat. and broke his leg. He has never broken a bone in his life so I am not sure how things are going to go. We thought Mon. he was going to get a cast since our 1st seminar is Tues and it is up a full flight of stairs. But no, of course not - that would be to easy. They are now saying he has to have a surgery to put a screw in his leg so it will heal properly and that is not scheduled until next week. So no cast -2 seminars with over 100 people coming - plus a ton of appointments to work around - it will be rough. Oh and it was his driving leg, needless to say my mom will be busy for the next 6-8 weeks.

Iris may not get out of the hospital today as planned. We are waiting to hear. She is having some abnormal liver function readings so they have to get that figured out. I am sure she is so sick of that place by now, Don too. The surgeon hadn't been in yet today, big surprise. So it is a wait for the surgeon and see game.

Addy, was throwing up last night. Only twice and she actually did slept throw the night but I didn't because I was worried about her getting sick again. That is the third time this winter, I am so sick of this. I have started my cold all over again and I think it is getting rather ridiculous already. So who is going to get sick next..... I did go buy some of the airborne tablets, someone I know swears by them so we all had a dose today. The last thing I need is for anyone else to get sick.

Sorry, not a very positive post today but that is life sometimes. We are just trying to roll with the punches here. Take care of yourselves, pleeeaase :)
