Tired of looking at Addy with her mouth open everytime you click through to my blog?? I know but she sure is cute :)
We have been busy and productive around our house lately, we could always stand to be a little more productive but then we might run out of things to do.
I have been busy with my two jobs and the stress level on them both has eased quite a bit so for that I am thankful. I spent Weds. at a sales meeting for a company we sell at the furniture store called Ekornes. I have sold may of these chairs and have always thought they were great but I am more impressed with them. The class was alot of "fluff" but I am glad I went. We had another round of Seminars for Workman Financial. The turn out was horrible, I think everyone in MN has spring fever and the last thing they want to do is sit in a meeting on a beautiful evening. Can't say I blame them. Needless to say the people that came were wonderful and it will all work out.
I have been busy distributing neighborhood garage sale fylers. I am having a garage sale to raise money for my 3-day walk in August. Dave encouraged me to get more sales in the neighborhood so the traffic would be better. I think he may have just wanted to hit the sales - he is the garage sale king afterall. I have put 350 flyers in people's mailbox's and I didn't even get to half of the neighborhood. I decided that 350 would have to be enough for this year. I have 6 sales so far for the weekend. Not as good as I would have liked but better then just my little old sale. I think I will have a few more straggle in. If anyone has anything they would like to get rid of and would like to donate it to my sale I would be happy and willing to take it, even pick it up in Dave's new truck (yes, he got another car - more on that in a minute). I think we have plenty of clothing to sell. I am looking for any other items - furniture, appliances, kitchen items, craft items, electronics, tools, books (lots of books, they sell great. $1 a piece - do you think that is too much? I had a few people tell me that was to much last year but they flew out of the box and we kept filling to up. I guess the people complaining were just really, really cheap. They sold anyway and it is for charity people) . Email me if you have anything you would like to get off your hands. nicolelier@hotmail.com The catch is once you give it to me consider it gone, if it doesn't sell it will be donated to another charity. We can pick up anytime before Thursday the 17th. The sale is May 17, 18, and 19 stop by and shop if you have time.
Yeah, so Dave bought another vehicle. This seems to be a monthly occurence. He now has 3 vehicles and a camper. I have "a" vehicle. I will elaborate a little because I know that there are some men that read this. It is a very big truck. Dodge 2500 ext cab long box. Diesel with a WVO - which means it can run on vegetable oil (Dave's always into free stuff or I mean recycling - but that is nothing we all don't already know and that is what we love about him) . I forget the year but it is from CA and is in really good shape. Maybe he will post on here again someday and fill you in.
The girls are great, they just love being outside. Addy can unlock the door and let herself out, which she seems to think she can do anytime she wants - so that has been interesting. She really likes to sit outside on the step all by herself and enjoy her snack. They like to ride their bikes all the time, anytime Addy catchs a glimpse of one all she can say is bike, bike bike - Dave is so proud. Paige has become really good at riding this year, she can actually ride all the way to the park and we are all not crabby by the time we get there, now that is progress.
