I know it has been along time since my last post - so what's new for us. We have been busy as usual around the Lier household. Last week Dave was in Vegas for 2 days on business. Paige wrapped up her last swimming lesson (we thought) then we signed her up for one more session. She just loves it so much and really what else is there to do while we wait to dry out in the spring. Addy Jo is on the verge of crawling which is very exciting. She has also gotten her seventh tooth. This one has been more difficult for her. Saturday night she was up all night (at least it seemed that way) just moaning. It makes for a cranky mommy in the middle of the night. I actually took pictures of the girls last night to post but forgot the camera at home. I will attempt to post tonight.
There have been so many births and birthdays lately. At least once a week. We started off March with Grandma Barbie's (my mom's) birthday. We went to Grand Rio, the indoor waterpark and the kids really liked it. Addy was not so fond of the water. I think she really doesn't like splashing so much. I mean she likes to splash, she just doesn't like to be splashed. Last night in the tub with Paige she cried a scared kinda cry anytime there was water in the air basically. Anyway, we didn't get any pictures at Grand Rio because it was extremely busy and kinda hectic and very limited seating although we did manage to spread out as people left. Fun Place for the kids but it could be designed a little better. We will definetly try out some of the others opening around town.
Then, onto Grandma Jodi's b-day. Ed reserved at room for them at Mystic Lake and Karen, Dave and I went down for the buffet. It was a huge buffet, I haven't been there in years and they definetly added a few items. Not a place for people losing weight. Although there salad bar was very good and it was frozen yogurt. The place was extremely busy and so of course all the tables were $10. Jodi talked the pit boss into letting the 5 of us play at a $10 for only $5 for the whole night. We were able to play for a couple of hours and I actually left with more money then I went with so that was even better. The next day we had Jodi and the family over to our house for dinner with the girls. We had a fantastic dinner with dessert of course and I was sure I was doomed for the week with my weight loss but amazingly lost 1 pound. Hopefully it won't caught up to me this week.
So this week is Grandma Iris's birthday and we will be having them over for another family meal. We have several more birthdays coming up also. Paige always wants it to be her birthday and usual walks around singing "happy birthday to me" surrounding any birthday event.
Congrats to Meg and Joel who welcomed Eddie into the world recently (check her blog Pants central on my links page) and my friends from ND. They had twin boys on Feb 17th and have finally gotten to take them home on March 24th, what a victory. We have so many friends expecting more babies just around the corner and it is so fun to watch everyone's families grow.
