Today, I am just packing and relaxing. Tonight I am staying in a hotel near the beginning of the walk but cramming in a last minute hair appt. first. I have to be at the opening ceremonies tomorrow morning NO LATER than 5:30am with breakfast down and ready for a 20 mile day. They are shuttling people from the hotels to the starting spot to help traffic and also my family doesn't have to get up at 4:30 to take me. I am nervous, excited and in denial about how far I am walking. Wish me luck!!
I put some new links on the side of my blog. Nitty Gritty is someone that I do not know personally but a friend of mine told me about her blog and I truly enjoy reading it. Her story is amazing. You can get the whole background of her story on the sidebar of her blog. When I need some inspiration she always seems to have some. Kevyn Burger is a local radio show host on FM107 and she is battling breast cancer right now. She found out she had breast cancer at a routine mammogram the day after mother's day. She hasn't been updating much but I still like to keep up on it. I also added a cool new counter to see where people are visiting from. The 5 visitors I have to the blog are all from the same place so it probably won't be real exciting but it is still cool.

Thanks for posting the "Nitty gritty" link. Chip and Jody are friends of friends and I remember when they lost their daughter. I'll be interested to read up on how they are doing now.
