Update on Photos

Here are some photos of the Let's Dish private party that I had to raise money for my 3-day walk. It was really fun and there was a great turnout. Many people joined together with their mother's and their friends to dish and share meals. Let's Dish donated 10% towards my walk and everyone took home very tasty meals. The event raised $270.70. I have about $2300 for the 3-day. Met my goal of $2200- 3 weeks early. That is unusal for me to met a goal early, I am quite the procrastinator. If you were planning on donating to my walk - Please still do so - it all goes to a great cause - it is not just about meeting the goal but about supporting a good cause. Click on the link at the left (Breast cancer 3-day) and donate online. The walk is 2 weeks from this weekend. I may be crawling across the finish line (still procrastinating that one - could have trained better) but I will cross it.
Thanks to all of you that have helped, donated and supported me. It is truly appreciated!!

Above: the girls at the childrens museum, (Addy, Laureen- my niece and Paige). Addy and Laureen look so much alike, our relatives have been getting them mixed up - they look more like sisters then Paige and Addy do.
Below : Lisa ( a friend from college - she is a pro at dishing - she was in and out of there in a flash - 8 meals in about and hour - not to bad!)

Addy on the curious George slide at the children's museum - which she fell off of shortly after this picture, did a 360 in the air and landed on the concrete flooor. We ended this day with an ambulance ride to the children's hospital after she vomitted all over. We were going to head to urgent care and get her checkind out. She really wasn't acting herself at all but when she vomited all over I decided that this could be an emergency- bumped head (really hard on concrete) , extra sleeping and vomitting. All the signs were there - so I thought. With a 20 walk to the car, a 40 minute ride home and me with 2 kids, I figured I had no choice but to call 911. She was fine and in hindsight I wish I wouldn't have called the ambulance but live and learn. Next time I will wait to see if she continues to vomit. Apparently that is the sign to watch for - repeated vomitting. The next day we discovered blood in her ear and that resulted in 2 more doctor visits but again she appears to be fine. Thank godness!
